Naremburn Asian Australia Church (NAAC) began in 2004 and is a group of committed Christians who meet up regularly to worship God and learn from the bible.

NAAC Weekend Away 2009

We believe that:

  • The Bible is the clearest way you can know God and our authority in matters of life and practice.
  • You can come to God because of Jesus Christ.
  • Church is to be an enjoyable time where we meet, learn from the Bible, serve, pray and encourage one another.
  • The great news about Jesus Christ is not for private consumption, but with respect and gentleness is to be offered to all people.
  • Our focus is to ensure God’s word is taught faithfully and to ensure our members continue to grow in the knowledge and love of God. We also aim to reach out to our community and share the good news of Jesus Christ.

NAAC is part of the wider Naremburn Cammeray Anglican Church (NCA Church) located on Sydney’s North Shore.

NAAC services

NAAC currently has two services. Both services are in English.

NAAC Morning Church (10am)

This service is relaxed and family friendly. Each week we worship God through songs, learn from the bible via a short sermon and have small group discussions and question time.

Kids church (Sunday school) and crèche is a big focus. Each week the kids learn more about God through fun and exciting activities such as craft, singing and role plays.

We also have great fellowship over morning tea (available every Sunday) and lunch (every last Sunday of the month) after the service.

Location: Naremburn School, Corner of Willoughby Road and Dalley Road.
There is onsite parking in the school grounds.

NAAC Evening Church (530pm)

Evening church is a contemporary service primarily catered for university aged students and young workers. As well as singing and listening to a short sermon each week, the service may also include other activities such as skits and interviews.

There is also fellowship over afternoon tea after the service and dinner in a nearby restaurant.

Location: Crows Nest Centre. There is unlimited parking in adjoining car park off Holtermann St.

NAAC – other activities

Bible study groups

Bible study groups enable us to learn from Gods word in depth and in a small group environment. As well as learning from the bible, we also pray for each other. The topics studied, location and meeting times are tailored to each group’s individual needs.

Both NAAC services have bible study groups currently running.

NAAC mothers group

Mothers group consists of young mothers who meet up every fortnight to study from Gods word and pray for each other. There is also a sharing time where we discuss topics relevant to motherhood.
